[origin: EP2570753A2] The heat pump has two compressor stages and a gas cooler (2) or a condenser, which is operated on the high pressure level of the heat pump. An evaporator (5) is provided, which is operated on the low pressure level of the heat pump. The former compressor stage is formed as a compression ejector (3), which has a pressure connection (3.1), an outlet (3.2) and a suction connection (3.3).
