[origin: EP2571022A2] The sound absorber (1) has core (19) which is mounted on a carrier (2,12,24), and a lining (25) which covers surface (21) of the core. The lining comprises composite thin and flexible fibers, and metal. The core is porous or fibrous to absorb the acoustic energy by the vibration of air particles.
