[origin: WO2011144309A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a multiple-layer metallic composite plate, comprising the following method steps: coating of a surface of a first part plate by application of particles, stacking of the first part plate with the coated surface onto a surface of a second part plate, connecting of the part plates by roll cladding with the inclusion of the applied particles to form a first composite plate, and optionally repetition of the above-mentioned steps using the first composite plate as a part plate to form a composite plate from a multiplicity of part plates. It is provided here to apply the particles from a suspension onto the surface of one or each part plate from a suspension. A method of this type makes the simple production of a composite plate possible with mechanical and/or functional properties which are improved in a targeted manner or material properties which are graded in a targeted manner. Furthermore, the invention comprises a composite plate which is produced by way of the above-mentioned method.
