[origin: WO2011144572A1] The invention relates to an arrangement of a dashboard airbag, comprising a dashboard body that incorporates a flap body bounded by a rectangular perimeter which forms two side edges and also a rear transverse edge and a front transverse edge, and a firing channel (1). The firing channel comprises an upper face (4) for mounting on the dashboard, it surrounds the rectangular perimeter and comprises at least two lateral flanks (9, 11) which border the side edges of the flap body. At least one retaining tie (22) is mounted on the flap body and includes a portion (27, 28) which protrudes beyond one side edge and passes through one side flank (9, 11) in order to be retained by this side flank (9, 11), and an additional reinforcing member (36) is attached to the upper face of the firing channel (1) in line with the portion of retaining tie that passes through this side flank (9, 11).
