[origin: WO2011105910A1] A double-ended trimaran ferry with a hull (2, 3) form that is generally identical at each end (21a, 21b), so that the vessel may shuttle back and forth between terminals without turning. The vessel is symmetrical laterally about the centre hull's (2) centre line. The central hull carries a major proportion of the vessel's displacement, and is provided with laterally arranged side hulls (3). The vessel according to the invention is arranged as a double-ended ferry for routes with a considerable need for high service speed and in exposed waters with unfavourable quartering and beam seas.
