[origin: WO2011144819A1] The invention relates to insulation of flat roofs, low-pitched roofs or floor constructions and in particularly to insulation pieces (7), to a method for insulating and to an insulation package. The insulation piece (7) is an elongated piece in which the main direction of the fibers inside the insulation piece (7) runs essentially parallel to the outer planar faces (7a, 7b) of the insulation piece. The insulation piece (7) is arranged to the surface to be insulated such that the main fiber orientation inside the insulation piece (7) is essentially perpendicular to the surface to be insulated.
