[origin: WO2011144193A2] A sprinkling device (1) serves to load cutting heads (2) which are equipped with drilling bits 31-35 for use in mining, tunnelling and civil engineering. The sprinkling device (1) has a plurality of nozzles 21-25 which are arranged next to one another on a sprinkling pipe (3) and from which in each case one spray cone 41-45 emerges which is directed onto the cutting head (2) and comprises a water/air mixture. The centre line 61-65 of the spray cones which emerge from the nozzles 21-25 are directed onto a position between tangentially onto the basic body (5) of the cutting head (2) and onto the tip 51-55 of the respective drilling bit 31-35.
