[origin: WO2011144200A1] Split-membrane 3D stereomicrophone for converting the sonic actions of the surrounding air to two electrical voltages, consisting of a microphone capsule in the shape of a hollow body having at least one opening that is covered with one membrane each as the electrode, said membrane consisting of a flexible and electroconductive foil and being fastened in an electrically insulated fashion and spaced apart from at least one metal plate as the counter electrode which is fastened inside the microphone capsule, the metal plate being subdivided into a left-hand metal plate as the left-hand counter electrode and a right-hand metal plate as the right-hand counter electrode by a gap, said electrodes being electrically insulated from each other and having a respective electrical connection of their own.
