[origin: EP2572887A1] The container printing assembly (1) comprises a container conveying device (3) arranged such that a container (2) conveyed in the container conveying device is brought into contact with a transfer element (6) on a transfer drum (4) of the container printing assembly. A print head (11) is provided for applying negative image on the transfer element. The transfer drum is pivoted around a transfer drum rotation axis and the transfer element has a transfer element surface (12) facing the container. The transfer element is attached to the transfer drum in a movable, particularly swivelable manner.
