[origin: EP2573306A2] The window/door has a frame (1) on which a sash (2) is movably mounted. A drive (3) is provided, by which the sash is opened and closed. The drive is arranged between the frame and the sash in the closed position of the sash. The sash is unlocked and is manually moved from the closed position to the open position. The drive comprises a transmission for unlocking the sash, and a gear element of the transmission is brought out of engagement. The sash and drive are connected through the axle, and the gear box is provided between the motor and axle.
