The cooling circuit comprises a main cooling circuit including a section (3) upstream of the main radiator (5a), a radiator return path (8), a coolant pump (10), a main thermostat and a bypass (4). There is also a low-temperature circuit with its own radiator (5b) and return path (11), a valve unit and an additional heat exchanger. The low-temperature radiator is in parallel with the main radiator.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kühlkreislauf einer Brennkraftmaschine von Kraftfahrzeugen mit einem Hauptkühlkreislauf, bestehend aus einem Kühlervorlauf (3), einem Hauptkühler (5a, 50a, 61a), einem Kühlerrücklauf (8), einer Kühlmittelpumpe (10), einem Hauptthermostaten (2) sowie einem Bypass (4) bzw. Kurzschluss zwischen Hauptthermostat (2) und Kühlmittelpumpe (10), und einem Niedertemperaturkreis, bestehend aus einem Niedertemperaturkühler (5b, 50b, 61b), einem Niedertemperaturkühlerrücklauf, einer Ventileinheit und einem Zusatzwärmeübertrager (13).
