Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2573784A1] The breaker has a sliding contact (10), where a movable contact is mounted on a spring and arranged on the sliding contact. The movable contact lies opposite to fixed contacts (1). The fixed contacts include horn-shaped contours (2, 3), which engage in mating contours (15) of switching chamber walls of the breaker. The fixed contacts are designed in a U-shape with two legs and a passage region. The horn-shaped contours are designed as two bars, which are aligned parallel to each other. The bars are spaced at a distance from each other by an opening.
