[origin: EP2573882A2] The power distribution assembly (1) has a support rail (2) that is provided with a bottom portion (5), and fastening elements for fastening the current-carrying sections (3a,3b) on the support rail. The current-carrying sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of support rail are fastened with fastening elements. The contact bars (13) are extended in longitudinal direction and are spaced from each other. Free ends of contact bars are faced away from bottom portion, and base plates (12) of the current-carrying sections are parallel to bottom portion.
