[origin: EP2574379A2] The front machine (1) has levers (5.1,5.2) with holding units (6.1,6.2) for holding ski boot in a toe portion. The levers are located around axes which are pivotally mounted, such that the holding units can be moved in transverse direction. The holding units are located at specific distance in retaining position. The levers are mounted by positive control (20) in retaining position, so that the levers are coupled within a dynamic range and can be moved in transverse direction and holding units are coupled on dynamic path in transverse direction.
