Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2575153A2] The pole unit (1) has a vacuum switching chamber (2.1) provided with a fixed contact and a moving contact (2.2) i.e. bolt, that is drivable into a switching on position. A linear guide (12) i.e. ball circulation guide, is arranged at distance from the switching chamber or connected with a linearly movable drive element (10) in same direction to linearly guide the moving contact. A cutoff spring (5) directly acts on the movable contact or on a counter bearing, which is rigidly connected to the movable contact.
