Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2011151845A1] The present invention refers to an apparatus (100) for treating an user by vibrations, which comprises a vessel (1 ) provided with one or more side walls (6) and a bottom (5) defining a hollow region (3) for receiving a liquid for at least partially immersing the user; moving means (12) adapted to generate vibrations of the vessel; and outer envelope (2) of the vessel (1); a supporting structure (30) of the vessel (1) substantially rigidly connected to it at one or more connecting areas located on the vessel bottom and/or proximate to it; a plurality of elastic damping elements (21) substantially rigidly connected to the supporting structure (30) at its side portions located under the bottom (5) and laterally projecting from it. The bottom (5) has, in the longitudinal section, an outline having a variable height with one or more valleys (70', 70") and a peak (71), and defines underneath at said peak (71 ) a receiving compartment (74) receiving at least partially the moving means (12).
