Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011149430A1] The ring mechanism (1 ) of a document file (2) comprises a base plate (10), on which two stable pins (11, 12) are fixed and two pivotable pins (144, 145) are pivotally attached, which are by means of a clamping set (2) either pressed towards said stable pins (11, 12) or temporarily displaced apart from said stable pins (11, 12), wherein said base plate (10) is adapted for attachment onto the inner side (2209 of a cardboard cover (22) of each document file (2) intended for archiving paper sheets and for such purposes comprises corresponding bores (181, 182, 183, 184) adapted to receive rivets or any other suitable attaching members. The aim of the invention is to create such mechanism (1), which could without increasing the manufacturing costs be efficiently prevented against undesired influences of each corresponding cardboard cover (22), to which such mechanism (1) is attached, in particular against the risk of corrosion on the base plate (10) of such mechanism (1) due to permanent contact with hygroscopic cardboard cover (22). Said problem is resolved by arrangement of the circumferential edges (105) of the base plate (10) into the second plane (E2), which is at a pre-determined distance (d), which preferably corresponds to 0,5 - 1,5 of thickness (t) of the steel strip, of which the base plate (10) is manufactured, spaced apart the first plane (El ), in which the base plate (10) is rest onto the surface on the inner side (220) of the cover (22) of the document file (2).
