[origin: WO2011151173A1] The invention relates to a vehicle door having door bodywork (1), an assembly carrier (2) which is connected to the door bodywork and has the purpose of holding function components of the vehicle door, and a multifunction carrier (3) which is attached to the assembly carrier via a securing section (31) and has the purpose of connecting a door lock (4) to the assembly carrier. According to the invention, a force absorption element which is arranged on the multifunction carrier (3) is provided for absorbing crash forces between the sections (12) of the door bodywork (1).
