Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011154300A2] The invention relates to a thermally separated profiled element (1) comprising at least one plastic profiled element (3) and at least two metal profiled elements (5) extending in the longitudinal direction of the plastic profiled element (3). The metal profiled elements (5) are joined by means of the plastic profiled element (3) to form the thermally separated profiled element (1) and are connected to each other in such a way that the total profiled element width can be produced independently of the production tolerances of the individual profiled elements. For this purpose, the plastic profiled element (3) has projections (9; 43; 83, 85, 87), which extend in the longitudinal direction and which mesh in a form-fit manner with grooves (7; 41; 77, 79, 81) of the metal profiled elements (5) that extend in the longitudinal direction, wherein the connection by means of welding or adhesive bonding can compensate component tolerances.
