[origin: WO2011147897A2] The present invention relates to a storage unit and a household appliance having said storage unit. The storage unit comprises a main body (8) having a receiving space (32); a storage member (9) movably received in the receiving space (32); a retractable guide unit (14) connected between the main body (8) and the storage member (9) for guiding the storage member (9) to insert into and retreat from the receiving space (32); and a securing unit for securing the guide unit (14) to an inner side of a wall (22) of the receiving space (32), wherein the securing unit comprises at least one hole (42) provided on the main body (8) and an insertion member (41 ) passing through and being secured to the hole (42). According to suggestions of the present invention, the securing unit is provided such that the interior of the receiving space (32) is not in fluid communication with the exterior thereof.
