[origin: WO2011147896A2] The present invention relates to a low-pressure storage unit for a refrigeration appliance and a refrigeration appliance having the same. The low-pressure storage unit comprises a first member (11) and a second member (16, 17) which forms different parts of a wall of the storing chamber (32) and are constructed independently from each other and then connected together, as well as a sealing element (18) connecting the first member (11) with the second member (16, 17) in an air tightness manner. The securing unit comprises a hole (31a, 31b) that is provided in at least one of the first member (11) and the second member (16, 17), and a securing member (29) inserted into the hole (31a, 31b), wherein the securing unit is constructed in such a way that the interior of the storing chamber (32) is not in fluid communication with the exterior thereof.
