[origin: WO2011151688A1] The present invention relates to a device (10) for closing a lens rim (11) of an eyeglass frame, said rim (1 1) being split at an area thereof with the connection ends (12, 13) being adapted to be spaced from each other to receive a lens in said rim. Each of the connection ends (12, 13) is formed with an opening (14, 15) for receiving a corresponding portion (16, 17) of a hook element (18), which is adapted to press together the facing end surfaces (19, 20) of the connection ends (12, 13).
