Abstract (en)
The unit (10) has a cable drum (12) for a connection cable of a vacuum cleaner, and a driving apparatus for rotating the cable drum. A brake device inhibits or releases rotatability of the cable drum. A brake lever (30) deactivates the brake device. The brake device comprises a pivotable connection plate (32) and a friction wheel that is rotatable with the cable drum, where the connection plate blocks the friction wheel in an orientation. The connection plate has a contact surface for contacting the friction wheel, where the driving apparatus is designed as a roll spring.

Es wird eine Kabeltrommeleinheit (10) für einen Staubsauger mit einer Kabeltrommel (12) für ein Anschlusskabel des Staubsaugers und mit einer Antriebsvorrichtung (14) zum Drehen der Kabeltrommel (12), angegeben, wobei die Kabeltrommeleinheit (10) eine Bremseinrichtung (22, 32), über welche eine Drehbarkeit der Kabeltrommel (12) verhindert oder freigegeben wird, und ein Betätigungselement (30) über welches die Bremseinrichtung (22, 32) deaktiviert und die Antriebsvorrichtung (14) in Gang gesetzt wird, angegeben, bei der als Bremseinrichtung (22, 32) eine schwenkbewegliche Klemmscheibe (32) und ein mit der Kabeltrommel (12) drehbares Reibrad (22) fungiert, wobei die Klemmscheibe (32) in einer ersten Orientierung das Reibrad (22) verklemmt.
