A packing apparatus comprises first positioning means (10) configured for positioning a first carton (14) arranged on a first side of a supporting plane and extended in length according to a first direction, second positioning means (10) configured for positioning a second carton (14) arranged parallelly facing, and spaced apart from, said first carton, and guiding means configured for guiding the movement of said first positioning means in a second direction transverse to said first direction for adjusting the distance between said first and second positioning means.
