Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2578743A1] The appliance has a steam distribution circuit for distributing steam to steam outlet holes and comprising a filter formed of filter grids (8-10) to retain tartar particles. The filter is provided with an anti-adherent coating made of fluoropolymer material e.g. PTFE. The filter is made of a material possessing a thermal effusivity lower than or equal to specific value. The filter grids are made of glass fabric coated with the PTFE and stainless steel coated with the PTFE. One of the grids is provided with openings of 1-2 mm on a side. An independent claim is also included for a laundry iron.
