Abstract (en)
The iron has a sharpened sole surmounted by a plastic housing including a rear end that is provided with a bead on which the iron rests vertically during inactive ironing phases. A steam distribution circuit comprises filtering screens (8, 9) for retaining tartar particles, where the filtering screens extend parallel to longitudinal direction of the sole. The filtering screens are arranged such that the filtering screens are crossed upward by vapor when the iron rests horizontally on the sole.

Fer à repasser (1) comprenant une semelle (2) de repassage surmontée d'un boitier (3) comportant une extrémité arrière munie d'un talon (32) sur lequel le fer à repasser (1) peut reposer sensiblement verticalement lors des phases inactives de repassage et comportant un circuit de distribution de vapeur comprenant au moins une grille de filtration (8, 9) destinée à retenir des particules de tartre, caractérisé en ce que ladite grille de filtration (8, 9) s'étend parallèlement à la direction longitudinale de la semelle (2).
