Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2578783A1] Friction hinge for a pivoting door, window or shutter, comprising a first friction body susceptible of being held on the fixed frame of the door, window or shutter through first fastening means mechanically engaged to a first anchoring cavity of the fixed frame and rigidly fixed to the first friction body; and a second friction body pivotably mechanically coupled to the first friction body and susceptible of being fixed to the movable leaf of the door, window or shutter through second fastening means mechanically engaged to a second anchoring cavity of the leaf and rigidly fixed to the second friction body. The first and second fastening means each comprise a plate fixed to the respective inner or outer side of the corresponding first and second section bar and a counterplate provided with an engagement portion constrained by interference inside the first or second recess of the corresponding first or second section bar beneath the plate and fixed to the corresponding first or second friction body through a pair of first screws each having the head constrained to the friction body, and the shaft passing through a hole of the relative first or second friction body aligned with a first opening formed in the plate and engaged by screwing in a first threaded hole of the counterplate.
