[origin: WO2011154073A1] The invention relates to a method for lengthening and/or augmenting human scalp hairs through use of foreign hairs which are secured to the scalp hairs, wherein the foreign hairs are held releasably, in particular affixed releasably, on a support, in particular a tape, in such a way that several foreign hairs are releasably held alongside one another and/or behind one another in the longitudinal direction, transverse direction or oblique direction of the support/tape, and in such a way that the foreign hairs located on the support/tape have one of their two ends secured, in particular affixed, tied, anchored or entwined, on at least one scalp hair and are released from the support/tape before, during or after the securing.
