[origin: WO2011155947A1] The present invention relates to the field of composite structures, overmolded composites structures and processes for their preparation. The disclosed composite structures have a surface, which surface has at least a portion made of a surface resin composition, and comprise a fibrous material selected from non-woven structures, textiles, fibrous battings and combinations thereof, said fibrous material being impregnated with a matrix resin composition, wherein the surface resin composition and the matrix resin composition are identical or different and are chosen from thermoplastic compositions comprising a) one or more thermoplastic resins selected from polyesters, polyamides and mixtures thereof; and b) from at or about 0.5 to at or about 6.0 wt-% of nanoclays, the weight percentages being based on the total weight of the thermoplastic composition.
