[origin: WO2011157261A2] The invention relates to a method for optical force measurement, in which an elastically deformable and/or an elastically deforming region (2) of a solid body (1) is subjected, owing to the influence of a force, to a change in its geometry, the change in geometry of the region (2) that is effected owing to the influence of the force is optically acquired and the force effecting the change in geometry is calculated from the optically acquired change in geometry using a predetermined, preferably bijective force-geometry change relationship. The invention likewise relates to an arrangement for carrying out this method.
