Abstract (en)
A punch and die set (10 includes a die (12) including two arms (14,16). The two arms (14,16) and a bottom (20) of the die (12) define a die channel (26). A punch (50) is sized to be received in the die channel (26). A rocker element (32,34) is movably secured to the die (12) . A reduced frictional element (54,56) is movably secured to the rocker element (32,34). The rocker element (32,34) is movably secured to the die (12) so that the rocker element (32,34) pivots relative to the die (12) around a pivot point (82,86) between a centerline (40) of the die channel (26) and at or inside a first of the arms (14,16).
