Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2011157412A1] The invention relates to a slicing machine (10) comprising a circular blade (12), which rotates in a cutting plane (E) and is mounted in the machine housing (11), and a carriage (14), which carries a flat support plate (13) having a support surface for goods to be cut and which is guided parallel to the cutting plane via a carriage base (14a) along a sliding rail (15c) rigidly connected to the machine housing and can be displaced parallel to the plane (A) of the support plate, characterised in that the carriage base is movably received by means of two support elements inside a guide space (F) and is supported against a separating wall (16) running between the support plate and carriage base. On the side remote from the support plate, the separating wall encloses the guide space (F) in which the sliding rail is disposed, wherein the first support element (15a) is supported from beneath on the surface of a first separating wall section (16a) that runs beneath the support plate parallel to the plane (A) of the support plate, and the second support element (15b) is supported laterally against a second separating wall section (16b) that is angled with respect to the first separating wall section. This arrangement allows improved cleaning options, simplified maintenance and simple operation of the carriage, combined with a compact design and optimum work protection.
