[origin: WO2011157282A1] A single-pass inkjet printer (1) is specified with a running path (5) for guiding a printing medium along a running direction (7) and with a number of print-head modules (4) which extend over the running path (5) in a transverse direction (8). It is provided here that the print-head modules (4) are arranged in each case such that they can be introduced, in a manner which is suspended and self-adjusting, substantially in a vertical direction into a printing position, in which they are fixed to the unit and can be removed reversibly in the printing position, in which they are fixed to the unit. A single-pass inkjet printer (1) of this type affords the possibility of a simple manual exchange of print-head modules (4), as a result of which the down times are shortened.
