[origin: CA2802073A1] The invention relates to a pack for cigarettes, comprising at least one slide (12) for accommodating a package content (13), in particular a group of cigarettes, and a sleeve (11) that encloses the slide or each slide (12), wherein the sleeve (11) has a large-area front sleeve side (39) and a corresponding opposite rear sleeve side (41) and narrow sleeve sides (45) that connect the front sleeve side (39) and the rear sleeve side (41) to each other, and wherein adjacent sleeve sides (39, 41, 45) are connected to each other by upright sleeve pack edges (48). According to the invention, the sleeve pack edges (48) are rounded and/or chamfered and at least two slides (12) are arranged in the sleeve (11), which slides are adapted to the shape of the rounded and/or chamfered sleeve pack edges (48), wherein the slides (12) match. The invention further relates to a method and device for producing such packs.
