[origin: EP2452896A2] The structure has an upper cover layer spaced at a distance to a lower cover layer. Transverse carriers are arranged between the lower and upper cover layers. The carriers together with the cover layers limit a gap (18). The upper cover layer comprises a strand profile (16) with a hollow region (42) opened to the gap. The gap and the hollow region of the strand profile are approximately and completely filled with a foam material (20). The hollow region of the profile is defined by bars (26) extending from an outer wall (24) of the strand profile vertically inward in direction of the carriers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heat insulating floor structure for a vehicle and a container.
