Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2584078A1] The heald has a heald body extending in a longitudinal direction and comprising a thread lug for accommodating a warp thread (16), where the body is made of plastic. The thread lug is limited by thread support surfaces (25) that are arranged at a distance to each other at the body in the longitudinal direction. The support surfaces are extended between two longitudinal sides (33, 34) of the body, where each support surface has two flat surface sections (42, 43) that are connected with one another over a central curvature portion (44) in a stepless and edgeless manner.
