[origin: EP2584298A2] The device (1) comprises a closed drying chamber (10), which has an inlet opening (15) and an outlet opening (17) for the containers (2), and a transport system (3) for the containers. A cleaning unit is provided for the chemical or chemical and mechanical cleaning of the interior of the drying chamber, through which a cleaning and disinfecting unit is supplied in the interior of the drying chamber. The cleaning unit comprises cleaning nozzles (30) and brushes, which are arranged in each of the corners of the drying chamber. An independent claim is included for a method for cleaning a drying device.
