[origin: WO2011160869A1] The present invention relates to a hand-held applicator device (10) for applying a liquid or pasty material to an object, the device comprising a gripping part (12), an applicator part (16) mounted on the latter, a reservoir (18) which can be connected in fluid-technical manner to the applicator part and defines an accommodation chamber (20) for accommodating the material to be applied, and a pressure element (30) which acts on the accommodating chamber and by means of which the material can be urged through a reservoir opening (38) in the direction of the applicator part. Further provided is a threaded spindle (26) which can be rotated by a motor (36) and moves the pressure element optionally forwards or backwards.
