Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2400353A1] The special needle (2) useful in a timepiece (1) for producing a sudden acceleration, is claimed. The needle is mounted about a pivot axis to indicate a piece of information and partially produced from an amorphous metal alloy including gold, platinum, palladium, rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, silver, iridium or osmium. The needle is attached to its axis through an hour wheel and driven by a retrograde motion. The needle and the hour wheel form a single piece. An independent claim is included for a process for producing a special timepiece needle.
