[origin: WO2011160872A2] The invention relates to a machine part (10), in particular a rotor or stator of an electric machine. Said machine part (10) comprises a packet (12) consisting of a plurality of stacked lamella-type metal sheets, and at least one magnet (16) that is accommodated in a pocket (14) designed in the packet (12). One of the lamella-type metal sheets is designed with at least one clamping nose (18) that extends into the pocket (14) and secures the magnet (16) in the pocket (14). Said clamping nose (18) is designed in such a way as to be at least partially deformed in a plastic manner by the magnet (16) when being inserted.
