Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2586821A1] The invention relates to a starch-based degradable plastic masterbatch and a preparation method thereof. The starch-based degradable plastic masterbatch is prepared from raw materials as follows: 40-70 parts by weight of starch; 10-20 parts by weight of light calcium carbonate; 2-10 parts by weight of rock powder; 13-25 parts by weight of a plastic material; 1-5 parts by weight of compatibilizer; 1-5 parts by weight of lubricant; 1-5 parts by weight of modifier; and 1-5 parts by weight of degradation accelerant. With the addition of light calcium carbonate and rock powder, the amount of synthetic polymer in the starch-based degradable plastic masterbatch of the present invention is greatly reduced. In addition, with reasonable preparation processes, not only the qualities of the finished products are improved, but also the cost is reduced by 45% while ensuring a good degradation effect.
