[origin: EP2587067A2] The pump unit has two individual pumps (1,2) in a housing (5) with a total intake pipe (3) on the housing inlet (6) and a total pressure pipe (4) on the housing outlet (7). The individual pumps comprise intake pipes (8,9) and pressure pipes (10,11). The total intake pipe and the total pressure pipe are connected in parallel with the individual pumps by a one-or multi-part deflecting unit (13). The total intake pipe is connected with the intake pipe of the former individual pump and the pressure pipe of the former individual pump is connected with the intake pipe of the latter individual pump.
