[origin: EP2587495A1] The device comprises an engaging portion (22) which is movable by a motor, a stationary coil, and the elongate adjusting elements (14). The magnetized permanent magnets (24) which are adapted to cooperate with a stationary core region, are arranged axially along the extension direction of adjusting element. The adjusting element has two portions (16,18), of which the first portion (16) is formed as a non-magnetic region and the second portion (18) is formed as a region having high resistance to wear with respect to the permanent magnet. An independent claim is included for a method for producing adjusting element for electromagnetic adjusting device.
