[origin: WO2012000774A1] The invention relates to a process for preparing a thixotroping agent based on a urea derivative, in which component a), comprising at least one amine, and component ß), comprising at least one isocyanate, are supplied separately to a mixing means and are mixed with one another, the reaction mixture being discharged from the mixing means by spraying or squirting. Additionally disclosed is the use of the thixotroping agent in a flowable system. The process is suitable especially for the preparation of adhesives and sealants.
