Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2589414A2] The system (100) has a suit (101) i.e. survival suit, comprising an upper body area (112) fastened to an upper body of a person, and a fastening device formed at an inner side of the suit. A locking strap (102) is fastened to the fastening device, where the fastening device is designed such that the strap is fastened to the inner side of the body area. A coupling element (103) penetrates the suit in the body area. The coupling element is coupled with the strap and with a safety element such that a load-bearing connection is manufactured between the strap and the safety element. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing a person at a safety element.
