[origin: EP2589729A1] The garage door handle (10) has an outer half-case (20) and an inner half-case (18) which are interconnected by spacers serving as connecting webs (22). A slider (24) has an outer handle (26) used as an outer operating structure (12) which is slidably accommodated in a grip (28) of the outer half-case. The outer operating structure is provided for actuation of a door handle signal generator (16) that emits opening signal for a garage door drive to open the garage door leaf.
