Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2590193A1] The magnet arrangement has an open magnetic circuit which is provided with a magnetic material. A permanent magnet (80) is provided to deliver a magnetic flux to the magnetic circuit and to generate magnetic induction in vicinity of a pre-chamber (30) that acted upon switching arc. The magnetic material is configured as a U-section metal sheet that extends along the length of pre-chamber. The U-section metal is provided with a material recess (71) that extends through a pre-chamber metal sheet (70) and contains permanent magnet. An independent claim is included for a low-voltage circuit-breaker.
