Abstract (en)

The method involves activating an adaptation procedure of the feedback suppression device. The adaptation procedure of the feedback suppression device is carried out, and the activation of the adaptation procedure is carried out periodically. The adaptive filter having a variable increment is adopted during the adaptation procedure. The on-state and off-state for different lengths of time is continued. An independent claim is included for a feedback suppression device for hearing device.

Die Qualität der Rückkopplungsunterdrückung bei Hörvorrichtungen und insbesondere bei Hörgeräten soll verbessert werden. Dazu wird ein Verfahren zum Adaptieren einer Rückkopplungsunterdrückungseinrichtung einer Hörvorrichtung an eine vorgegebene Situation vorgeschlagen, bei dem ein Adaptionsvorgang der Rückkopplungsunterdrückungseinrichtung periodisch aktiviert wird, wodurch also regelmäßig eine Adaption der Rückkopplungsunterdrückungseinrichtung durchgeführt wird, auch wenn der Rückkopplungsdetektor (16) eventuell keine Rückkopplungssituation detektiert.
