Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012005649A1] The invention relates to a method for marking or colouration or destruction of objects of value (100), such as banknotes, where at least one liquid medium (31) is used, which is contained in at least one compressible and openable container (30). At least one flattened and expandable container (40) is used in order to, when needed, compress the compressible container (30) in order to distribute the liquid medium (31) on the objects of value (100). At least one gas generating means (41) is placed inside the expandable container (40), in order to, in case of an alarm signal, expand the container (40). The liquid-containing container (30) is punctured or is opened at an alarm signal, at which time the expansion of the gas container (40) creates a liquid distribution over the objects of value (100). The invention also comprises a device for implementation of the method.
