[origin: WO2012007032A1] The invention relates to a cleaning appliance (10) for cleaning the underside of a vehicle, with a cleaning head (14) which has at least one cleaning nozzle (44, 46) chargeable with cleaning liquid and which is movable by means of travel wheels (32, 34, 40, 42) along a bottom surface under the vehicle to be cleaned. In order to develop the cleaning appliance in such a manner that a consistently good cleaning performance can be obtained in different vehicles, it is proposed that the cleaning appliance (10) has a chassis (12) on which the travel wheels (32, 34, 40, 42) are rotatably mounted and on which the cleaning head (14) is held in a height-adjustable manner.
